Art x Gin - Narjia Brownlie

For our Art x Gin Project, we used a unique co-creation process to partner with local artists and develop a gin and artwork in full concert with each other. Based on core ingredients that speak to the artist, a pilot bottle of gin is hand distilled. With the liquid inspiration of this gin, the artist creates a work that in turn inspires the final distillation. For this gin, we collaborated with local artist Narjia Brownlie. Our signature triple distilled spirit is the canvas for the gin, which is infused with botanicals on its third distillation. The traditional botanicals of juniper, coriander and orris root are layered with native mountain pepper-berry, organic blueberries and lavender freshly cut from the homestead gardens. After distillation, honey from our homestead hives and butterfly pea flower is lightly infused to add a final sweetness and lavender colour.
